Spanish Ham Knife 305 mm. Hand Forged Damascus

This Spanish ham knife is hand forged with Carbon Steel 1095 and 15N20. The technique used is the Damascus, fusing layers with different types of steel and thus achieve the quality and beauty of a unique and unrepeatable piece.

The handle, made of locally sourced olive wood, is handmade by me.

It is carefully sharpened by hand with Japanese water stones to guarantee an exceptional cut.

The ham knife is an essential for professional ham cutters and for the not so professional but lovers of a good serrano ham. Its edge, being long and flexible, allows us to cut thin slices easily and accurately.

Due to the qualities of its blade, it can also be used to cut other types of dry meats.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• We recommend to wash the knife by hand after each use and dry immediately.
  DO NOT USE DISHWASHER
• The knife will change color over time, this natural phenomenon is called patina and will not affect in any way the quality of your knife.
