The Nakiri knife is a traditional Japanese-style kitchen knife designed specifically for cutting vegetables, offering clean, straight and precise cuts with every movement. Thanks to its completely flat edge and rectangular blade profile, it allows full contact with the cutting board, eliminating the need for rocking motions and resulting in uniform, controlled cuts.

With a 175 mm blade, this Nakiri provides excellent balance and control for everyday kitchen prep, especially when working with vegetables, fruits and herbs.

This knife is hand forged from Carbon Steel 1095 and 15N20 using the Damascus technique, fusing 83 layers of different steels to achieve an optimal combination of strength, edge retention and a unique visual character in every piece.

The handle is handcrafted from olive wood and brass, shaped to provide comfort, balance and a secure grip during prolonged cutting sessions.

Each blade is carefully sharpened by hand using Japanese water stones to guarantee a consistent, reliable and precise cutting edge.

🧼 CARE INSTRUCTIONS

We recommend washing the knife by hand after each use and drying it immediately.
DO NOT USE DISHWASHER.

The blade will naturally develop a patina over time. This natural phenomenon does not affect the performance or quality of the knife and is a characteristic of carbon steel.
