The Nakiri knife is a traditional Japanese-style vegetable knife, designed for clean and precise cutting of produce. Its straight edge makes full use of the blade length against the cutting board, enabling effortless and accurate slicing and chopping without rocking motion.
With a 190 mm blade, this Nakiri offers excellent balance and control for everyday kitchen prep, particularly when handling vegetables, fruits, herbs, and other plant-based ingredients.
This Nakiri features a Sanmai construction, meaning the blade is built in three layers: a central core of high-carbon steel for sharpness and edge performance, clad between two layers of stainless steel to increase corrosion resistance and durability.
The handle is crafted from American walnut and bronze, handmade for comfort, balance and a secure grip during prolonged use.
Each blade is carefully sharpened by hand to ensure a consistent and reliable cutting edge that excels in precision tasks.
